In 2023, I began fostering a bully breed mix with a local rescue named Luna. She had been adopted as a puppy and returned four years later due to fear and reactivity. Luna opened a new world for me. Through her, I learned how dogs truly experience the world and what they need to feel safe, understood, and supported within it.

Luna is the reason Dawgs & Mo offers an intimate boarding experience; small in scale, intentional in structure, and deeply personal.

At Dawgs & Mo, boarding isn’t just about meeting basic needs from drop-off to pick-up. It’s about continuing the work you’ve already started with your dog. Training goals are reinforced, routines are respected, and fulfillment is provided in ways that make sense to the dog in front of us.

Some dogs thrive with structured social time, pack walks, and shared adventures. Others feel safest with space, predictability, and one-on-one engagement. Both are valid and both are honored here.

Things to know

  • If you have not previously booked with Dawgs & Mo, a discovery call will be required before booking to ensure we can set your pup up for a successful stay.

  • When you book your first stay, you will receive a client information link to tell us about your dog and what you would like to bring with them.

  • All dogs sleep in individual crates.

  • All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccines.

  • We have limited space for boarding.

  • You can book a stay as soon as you have a date in mind and up to 24 hours in advance.

  • We are able to accommodate dogs of all ages and sizes. We also can care for your seniors, special diets, and dogs with extra behavioral or medical needs.

  • Boarding drop-off and pick up is flexible. We are happy to collaborate on a time that works best for you and us!

  • Pick up/drop off by Dawgs & Mo is available for an additional charge.

  • All dogs will receive their needed care and fulfillment each day.

  • Dog parents can expect consistent photo and text updates on their pup throughout their stay.

  • Dogs staying over 14 consecutive days will receive a bath before their go home.
